PENG MARKET® Lucerne

PENG MARKET® was founded in August 2022, inspired by numerous trips to the world's most renowned streetwear hotspots. From the boutiques in SoHo, New York, to the trendy scene in Fairfax, Los Angeles, and the style-defining districts like Harajuku in Tokyo, Nanjing Road in Shanghai, Sanlitun in Beijing, and Indre By in Copenhagen – everywhere I found inspiration in small shops and exchanged ideas with the people there. These experiences sparked in me the desire to create a place in my hometown Lucerne that unites this global streetwear culture.

Born and raised in Lucerne, I always dreamed of having a store that would bring urban fashion to our small city. Since no such store had taken root here, I decided to take matters into my own hands. During the COVID-19 crisis, I had the opportunity to acquire a small premises on Löwengraben, right next to Weggisgasse. Without hesitation, I made this space my own and founded Peng Market GmbH.

The goal of PENG MARKET® is not just to be a store, but to become an integral part of Lucerne's streetwear scene and to endure for generations. Consistency, loyalty, customer proximity, and honesty are the values that should be conveyed.

Here you will find exclusive brands and limited editions from labels like Stüssy, Supreme, Bape, Nike, Jordan, adidas, Yeezy, New Balance, The North Face, and many more. We aim not only to offer our customers the latest trends but also to introduce them to the stories behind the products.

Our shop at Löwengraben 4 is centrally located, surrounded by trendy stores like the skateboard shop Paranoia and the second-hand shop Alibaba. The main shopping street is just around the corner – ideal for anyone who wants to experience Lucerne's urban flair.

Streetwear and sneakers are more than just clothing to me – they are a passion and a culture. As a collector with a fondness for the historical backgrounds of brands, I delve deep into the storytelling and genesis of each individual piece. My personal style is simple and subtle, but my interest in the products and their stories is boundless. I feel particularly connected to the scene in Tokyo, where fashion and sneakers are understood as an expression of identity, history, and craftsmanship – values that I also uphold.

Peng Market has an approachable, simple ambiance. Although I don't possess great craftsmanship skills, I built the store myself with the simplest materials – with the support of friends who stood by me.
